When I lived in VA, we had a pretty good sized on and it was all everybody talked about for a few days.
Unfortunately, when it was occurring, my daughter and I were on the highway driving over the mountain and we didn’t feel anything.
-not that we could have... back then every time she got in the car with me she readjusted all the settings on the radio and cranked up the bass.

Oh I so love driving by myself listening to public radio remix or npr...

When my kids were little we read, A LOT.
I was fine reading them books in the daytime, but it was such a struggle for me at night! By page 3 I’d be yawning. By 7 or 8 I’d be falling asleep sitting up!
It was as if someone shot me with an anesthetic.
They would all get so irritated with me!

Oh gosh. I’m laughing thinking about it.

I always had to pre-approve the book of the night.
If it wasn’t lively, there was ZERO chance I’d make it to the end.

The odd juxtaposition here is that I could read in bed for hours without falling asleep.

Iv'e been outside...i'm a serial killer. Two possums, one flippin huge and one normal possum size and one coon decent sized. Possums over the fence and back to nature, coon is in my wheelbarrow covered up until it gets warmer. Would have waited on all of them but my barrow is tiny. So i'm like the Ted Bundy of possums and coons now. I feel bad but thats three less chicken eaters.:)

Eh, I don't like killing stuff. I know though they'd all eat my derps in a heartbeat. I'm such a wuss though, I put a bread bag on my hand to pick them up and poked them with my shovel before I even got close. Again, worst murderer ever.:lau
