Really though bless her heart but she should know that possum selfies are never a good idea. Those things have more teeth than a t-rex. I get she's soft and not a murderer but don't snuggle it! Not a possum hater, they have their place but it isn't in the coop and it sure isn't drooling on your sweater while you take a dang selfie...maybe i'm just out of touch but i'm kind of glad.:)

So, i'm thinking of adding two more to the derps this spring since i'm going to be hatching anyway. That will be 13, can't just add one for a dozen. Hoping my littles will be laying by then, i'd love to see a Sallie mix maybe a little Rene too. Truth, i'm hoping to mix them all but i'd love to keep some Braverolles. Would those be berps instead of derps?:idunno

It works really well. My traps are old so they're pretty serious. The buckets have a hole in the bottom, I have these giant nails that get threaded through the closest chain link on the trap and then through the bucket hole. Only one slightly moved my setup, the giant possum leaned my bucket with body weight. I should have weighed that possum, it was bigger than the coon.

Possums get big! There was one in our yard in FL that i thought was a fuzzy cat until i got the flashlight! It was bigger than the Papillons!

I can here the possum now, "I'm telling you, Fred, I was just getting a snack when this big monster grabbed me and did this weird kinda hug like when you're holding on to your momma's back. Then there was a bright light like when it storms, and if I hadn't dug into it with my teeth and claws, I'd have never gotten away. Them monsters are strange, make sure you stay away from their snack bars, especially that one. You need to just get in, grab and go, no lolly gagging around, cuz dang, that was creepy!" :lau:lau
