Hi Anansi,
I suspect the vast majority of Squatch Watchers could be categorized as "Odd" . . . I have had chickens off and on since 1987, and now my only bird is Dylan, an African Grey Parrot age of ~24 years old. Bird folk never stop loving birds (and other animals . . . except maybe cats)!

Between having some health setbacks and a dead Vista computer/replaced by WIN10, I have been off-line. Off Line is not so bad, really!

I too have missed being here with you guys. You might be surprised to know that I do other stuff off line . . .
I just celebrated 60 years on this earth. The 59th was not the best! Having family (including Dylan the Parrot) makes all the difference.

Woke up all congested but my fingers still attached. It looks surprisingly normal for how bad that hurt. It did burst and not get cut. But it's not black and blue like I expected.

I have a few funny dental stories. At 17 had teeth pulled and woke up to gumball machine jewelry. I guess they put it on everyone who goes under so when they wake up the poor patient is confused. I sure was but got a good laugh.
The other was when I had wisdom teeth out. I got the sedation stuff which is actually the date rape drug. It puts you out but you follow directions. So if the dentist tells you turn your head or open wider you do but have no idea. The dentist was an uncle so he drove me home. All I really remember was when we went to leave the office I had to pee and heard two of the hygienists saying how they were going to take me out the back way so people wouldn't see the boss (my uncle) shoving a drugged teenager in is car. I have no other memories from that day but I do have my teeth, in a bag.

No, Milk Drinker is solely the nickname I've been using on BYC for him. @Texas Kiki claims credit for the name. I'm pretty sure that all kids that have me and DH as parents will be mischief makers. No two ways about that.

A new computer, and much re-adjustment, along with health issues, means I have spent a lot of time re-learning what I should know. Not Recommended.

I think the hardest part about a new computer is reteaching it all the passwords it saved, because I've forgotten half of them.
