Official Squatch Watchers

I'll never forget my silver spangled hamburg cockerel trying desperately to mate with my RP hen. She was perfectly willing, but size does matter in the world of poultry. He was probably 8"-9" tall at the time and she was two years old, so fully grown.

We watched an interesting documentary on tv last week
PECKING ORDER

It was about the 148 year old Christchurch Poultry Club in New Zealand.

Yes, it was about chickens, but more importantly, it was about the cantankerous members of this “club”, all of them crazy chicken people.

If you see it, I recommend it as a great way to fritter away an hour or so of your life on a rainy day and end up with a smile.
For more chicken-related frittering, I recommend "Hentopia" by Frank Hyman. Lots of cool chicken stuff.

View attachment 1634768 Pictures don’t do the D’Uccles justice. He is Clayton. Came with the name as a way to remember how to pronounce D’Uccle. Then I named his two girls Pearl and Opal.:love
My Porcelain D'ucclle is named Pearl too. Your rooster is beautiful

@staceyj I suspect your special friend has been suspended. His profile page is no longer view-able and there's no option to start a conversation. Not that I'd want to, but those are tel tale signs. He's been trolling a lot today.

I think he changed his settings so his profile is not viewable.
