Morning......I have to show you all the cutest little egg one of my Seramas laid. It even has speckles! Its next to other eggs for comparison. Even my Cochin Bantam egg

looks big next to it

It is a nippy 23 degrees here right now. It got down to 20 last night. In our bedroom, it dropped 13 degrees overnight. We have a gas heater in the hallway upstairs, but we don't like sleeping with our bedroom door open unless we have to. Thank goodness for footie pajamas for Thing 1 and a heated mattress pad for me.

Do any of you get the Chicken Chick newsletter? I just got mine via email and there is an article on the New Castle Virus outbreak in S California. They call it the grim reaper virus. Sounds horrible!
