Official Squatch Watchers

Ok Squatchers— got a new oddity for you.
She walks like that on purpose it seems. On firm ground not as stumbling as in the video but with shavings on the ground harder to see. Nothing on her feet. No bumbles or injuries. Not bothered when I touch her feet or legs. They are warm....

Thoughts? She’s a ballerina in training? Give her mackerel? Wait and see?

Is that walk new?

I would not worry about it!

Many would say mareks--:lau
Some would want to see the poo! :sick
Others would want to give her niacin

As long as she is eating and drinking well I would not worry. You could weigh her to to monitor weight to see if she starts losing any.

Never seen that before. I'd keep an eye on it and see how she's perching at night. Make sure it's a good surface and nothing too narrow. Odin liked perching on this narrow board and he had a limp for a long time after.

Mine faces north so it's hitting the front here too.

Hubs just dropped off an ATV with a plow on it......:hmm
We have a small single car driveway...full of my pick up.....no REAL sidewalk....
I hope this is one of his "flip" things.
Oh crap, yours might be hoarding machinery too! Iv'e got a little Kubota tractor added to my hoard, its like the yard equipment is breeding out there. :hmm

Only thing I can think it might be is toenails. Some of mine get weird if their nails get a little long.:idunno

So she’s a mix of standard hen with Bantam roo. I’m wondering if some of her foot feathers are bothering her. She has a few really thick blood feathers coming in. She is roosting on a thinner board but by choice. I noticed her doing it the other day but couldn’t get good video. She doesn’t seem bothered at all. I may try some poly vi sol just because I have it on hand.

Well, a little chunk of angel food cake is about to be dispatched. That is about the extent of his violence. Why youtube picked that frame is beyond me. I'm really accustomed to seeing that bottomless pit, so it just looks like a giant baby bird to me.:D
LOL It was really violent looking. I thought someone was about to be attacked when I clicked play.

Good luck. I'm going to block the vents on my coop tonight.... It's coming from the south west for us, hitting right on the face of my coop. My luck it'll all blow right inside.

Very well could be the odd facing new feathers.
It is certainly unique.

Feather problems are obvious on the derps, they act like their feet are falling off. Limping, stumbling it is all pretty dramatic. I'd kill for some simple tiptoeing.:hmm
