Do any of you have Wellsummers?

First they did with pine shavings was fill their waterer! I want to switch to nipple waterers but don't want to do it now. Be my luck they won't figure them out and I won't know it cause I'm not sitting out there freezing my butt off to watch them.
It's on a cinder block. If I raised it much higher the little birds wouldn't be able to reach it. I've wanted to switch to nipples but didn't make the jump. Was going to this past spring but my heated waterer died in the middle of winter so had to buy a new one. Roughly $40 down the drain I didn't want to use for a few months then store it. So I kept it another winter. That sounds about right, it isn't water until its piney.
You got it jacked up on anything or are you afraid of water disasters?

I did buy the heater I need! I have to order the nipples. Need the sideways ones. Then put it together.... more projects!

I had to get feed today.
They are already setting up chick bins at the feed store.
The good news is the feed is really fresh! Mill date is just 10 days ago!
