Official Squatch Watchers

Do you cover your cookies in a container with top, or with plastic wrap? That usually keeps them softer.

If they come out hard maybe your oven need calibrating. I know mine does but, I just lower the temp. a bit and keep testing with a finger tip(Ouch) to see if getting too hard.

Some you can take out of oven before entirely baked and they will continue to bake while sitting on a cooling rack. I test/taste a few just to check on them. Sometimes I actually have some to eat later :gig

Nah, just take them off the sheet put them on a plate and hide them in the microwave.
I have issues with getting distracted and tanning stuff.
Does not help my oven decided it won't beep when time is up.
I have a timer, if I remember to set it.;)

Sounds like my normal cookies.
Same.

Took my gimp child outside for a little bit so the others could lay eyes on her.
Seems like a good idea, at least to me.
I know for a fact Negan can count.
Today she's on the back porch, it is screened from floor to celing so she can see the outside world and her people.
I did let her take a hobble in the yard just to see what happens, she went under a bush and plopped.
She can plop on the porch. I don't worry nearly as much.:)
Is she at least improving?

My oven is like that too... I have an oven thermometer, but like Chicky, I forget about stuff too.. Chocolate items are the worst b/c you can't tell if they're getting too brown. It's either out too early to too late.

Now I want cookies. :barnie

I am going to go change laundry. Then mop the floors.

Maybe the cookie want will pass.
Good luck.. but remember baking cookies is a great way to warm up the house!

Same.

<< Snickering >>

My Windows are open and my furnace is off.

It's ok to hate me.

Not that I can see. She can walk, she can even "run" if she has to she just dosent want to.
She puts all her weight on one leg and sort of toe kicks with the sore one.
Just one of those things that takes time to heal up.
She was already the slowest one out there.:caf

I'll only hate you for a couple more days. By Sunday I'll like you again... unless your temps go below freezing before them.

Kinda sounds like how Jackie was.. She could walk & run, but I could tell something wasn't right. She eventually healed up. I think she hurt herself jumping down from the roosts. She's a hefty lady.

We are forecast to be near 60 this weekend. :plbb
