Good morning! Seriously I don't know how any of you have little chickens and not accidentally kill them.
Rene jumps for food, therefore anything in my hand MUST be edible in her mind.
Little dip jumped and headbutted my humongous coffee mug this morning.
Dazed her a little bit.
And I swear she was fully prepared to do it again! :barnie

Just got a nice 2 hour nap! What a difference!

Some of my CX mixed hens are going to lose their points... Since it's the biggest I assume they can't get their heads under their wings.
Definitely want some Cornish eggs after you hatch yours.
I plan on getting them to you sometime this summer. :thumbsup

I'm surprised that with their hard feathering that my Cornish seem to be doing so well. But if they have a nice wind sheltered place to rest they are the ones I see out scratching most often. I guess their thick legs help keep their blood flowing.
The joys of motherhood. Lucky for me my kids were very healthy except when they had chicken pox. Hugs to you Rae. Maybe pedialyte would be a good idea for your little man.
He's drinking fine, a little off on eating still, but doing well.
