Ron lucky you didn't get our form of cold like single digits - below 0 and dangerous wind chills. Always worry about power failures here from ice buildup and strong winds. Fortunately only two minor lapses with power out for an hour or so. Plenty scary though, and don't want water lines to freeze up.
I know!

WE were ok with space heaters here. The temperature was a bit below 32 for several of the days and then an atmospheric river went over--but that is not a cold storm but very wet...

Too nice to recycle, refill would be good too...not sure how well it would ship not in a tin in hot weather though
I sent a msg that larger size Extreme Care was requested. I got back "how big?" LOL
But he is looking into a chicken recipe. Would be the same stuff just not packaged as pretty. LOL

Good morning all. Still feeling a bit off kilter after my Vertigo episode but making progress.
I am picking up some new pullets tbe end of March. 2 OEs, 1 BCM and 1 Swedish Flower. I'm pretty excited!
Also...saw a strange thing last night. Went out to close up the coops for the night and noticed a strange grayish furry lump laying in the yard .It was a very large dead o'possum. No noticeable injuries. Almost looks like he just laid down and died. Don't get me wrong....I'm glad hes dead. One less predator to worry about. But it was strange
