I'm so glad your Seramas like it. It really does look like a flat screen tv. My 3 Serama roosters have big combs and they are all frostbite free. Glad I could help. :)

Yeah, they do love it! The Cozy Coop, that is.

My two Serama boys got frostbite though, cuz I got that heater ike a day after some subzero weather. Grumpy (my little gay rooster) only got a little, but Negan is gonna lose a big chunk of his comb. Poor boy, it looks nasty! Is there anything I can put on it?

How is your extra toed baby doing?

He's good! He is turning into a manly little cockerel. I still need to get rid of one of my boys, because the new ones are fighting if I let them free range (the weather has been NICE here lately).

I like that little six-toed freak. He has a really weird looking comb, too. I'm gonna have to post a picture of it. It's part of his unique charm. :)

Best not to touch frostbitten areas unless actual infection has set in. It can cause a lot of extra damage.
:hugs

I lost Jelly Bean. :( It looks like she died in her sleep. She was thinner then I thought. I weighed her and she was barely over a pound. I still didn’t see anything wrong with her.

Got weights on everyone else except Pat. The scale said “overload” which in digital number words looks like “overlord.” He would be fine with that.

Got 6 eggs too!!!

Nunny, I'm so sorry about Jelly Bean. :hugs :hugs :hugs

@pitbullmomma You can try the Extreme Care I use on the frostbite. It was doing really well on Pats comb until the boys got stir crazy and fights broke out. I still think it helped save a lot of comb and wattle.

I use it on everything from cuts and burns to eczema. With the high winds and low temp I was putting it on my face before I went outside.

If you want I can give you a coupon code for $8 off your order. No minimum purchase. You pay shipping. About $2.50.

I bought 2 and they charged $2.50 for shipping.. the package had a $4 shipping sticker on it.. I felt kinda bad for them
I haven't used it on the chickens, because they are wild and already had bad frostbite.. like they will end up with only a blade bad.
But it works great on me.. wish they had a larger size... not sure what I will do with a bunch of little tins to add to my hoard :barnie
