So??!!! Spill the tea, sister! You got many months of catching up to do. What the hellz been going on????!! How are you? How's your family? How's the puppies and chickens? How is it having your mom living with you?

Hay PBM got a vet question... How long does it take a dog to heal from a pulled muscle? My LGD apparently came in last Sunday night on three legs. DW says he was on three legs at 3:00 AM. Both occurrences were after my bedtime. At 4:30 when I woke up he didn't seem to have an issue and not being aware of the others, I let him out. He ran, chased critters and did what LGDs do. But came back on three legs. His left front shoulder was swollen and hot. I've kept him in since. He goes to the bathroom on a leash and comes straight back in. He almost took me out today going after a chip monk. That leg seems strong, but I want to be sure it has time to heal before letting him out to run again. I really need to let him start his patrols again as the bad critters are coming closer and closer to the chickens with all this rain. All thoughts are welcome.

Maybe it will subside on it's own. But, I know people who have had vets do acupuncture on them. Man had a Boxer , hind legs were so bad he had one of those "carts" to move around. The guy told me after a series of acupuncture sessions dog has walked just fine unaided. Was a nice friendly dog too.

I think it's the OPs post as a whole that leaves me speechless

I read the whole thread. :th

Seriously rude to the neighbors to let the birds roam like that.

I work hard to get my veggies to grow here. One year I had just picked 4 grocery bags of green beans. While rinsing them I saw out my window the neighbors intact Tom cat in my garden spraying my beans!!
I bagged the ones I had picked and gifted them to that neighbor.:lau

Now I trap cats coming in my yard and give them a free ride to the pound.

I am not against cats as pets......just not wanting THAT in my veggies.

I certainly don't want wild chickens eating a bite of this and a bite of that wrecking my garden.

I have enough trouble here with wild animals in my garden. Fenced it, hot wired it, and i still had 3 crops of beans destroyed before i got any!
