Hi all! Finally finished work for the day and I’m going to get a bath. DH is putting Thing 1 to bed. We plan to go to the Smithzonian National zoo with our friends tomorrow. Normally we would take the Metro into the city, but with being 5.5 months pregnant I don’t want to consign myself to walking that much. So we are driving into DC. Pray for us!

I think you'll be happy with one. I got one for the other property, neighbor processes game so mice came to party.
The plastic multicatch trap from tomcat had eight mice in two days, I think I baited with old chunky peanut butter.
What you do with your mice is up to you, mine went into the neighbor's mailbox.
They had air and food so no biggie.

When hubby gets home I will do a Home Depot run for a live trap.
That is a great idea for my cochin coop.
There is a little space next to the smaller nests. I could put one there.

Hubby got home late. I will get one in the morning.

I really want them gone.

A tiny update...... One of my giant cochin used the new smaller nests so yes they can fit.
I will be modifying the coop to have external boxes when the weather is more comfortable to be working in. They will get the bigger size back then.

Well i'm stumped, iv'e still got two non layers one is Marlene not surprised at her she's three and has always laid erratically.
The other one has me puzzled, Lulu! Her comb is red, way done molting, not sickly or wormy, no bugs.
She's not buying what Negan is selling either.
Maybe she's just slooow, it did take her nearly a full year to lay at all.
Tucks, Beavis even Rene are back laying Rene took a broody break for a few days but she is back.
So what is ya'lls take on it?
I'm wanting to try some more Lulu hatching, even though she's a rooster factory i'm a glutton for punishment but you all know that.

Omg! Almost forgot, hubs is totally down for hatching Hobo's and Rene's.
For some unknown reason he thinks Negan, Tucks and Lulu are related and swears I should try for a Rene son so i'd have an unrelated rooster.
Are they related? I don't have a clue, they were mail order eggs from MPC so who knows?
I'm not going to argue, I want a clump of midgets.
Aaaand the dummy that gave hubs Hobo saw her earlier today, he brought back the welder.
He said and I quote "if i'd known she'd be so fat and pretty i'd have kept her."
I replied "yeah, feeding and delousing work wonders right?"
Flippin jerkwad, Hobo remembers him too!
He tried to give her raisins and she refused, but took them from me....ha ha ha haaaa jerkwad.

Guy really is one, let Hobo live without a coop or shelter alone for two months.
Didn't feed her, tossed out a coffee cup of dumor scratch once a day.
She was an absolute lice fiesta, to the point of being lumpy.
She had obvious worms and mites.
Cherry on top, she had a fish hook in her foot.
So jerkwad, he claims he liked Hobo i'd hate to see if he disliked her.
And the fact he acts like she was a normal, nothing wrong here pullet his wife didn't like poopin on the porch boils my blood.
At the time she liked him, he could handle her so why not help her? Oh I know....cause he's a jerkwad.

My Orpington is the only one who hasn't started up laying again......but she did squat for me yesterday so I'm expecting an egg from her soon
