Mini rant.....

Hubby has scheduled a breakfast with his boss. It is freaking Sunday and time change! I don't want to go.
His bosses wife is rather judgy in an insulting way.
First off she doesn't eat enough to keep a sparrow alive. The last time we went to breakfast with them I ordered an omlet. I really wanted to enjoy that omlet. She makes little comments that clearly indicate she thinks I am eating to much.
Yes I am a big gal at 160# but I HAVE gone down a solid 80# in the last 18 months.
Her comment while I was eating my omlet was rude and hurtful.

Mostly I am mad at hubby because I told him I did not want to do breakfast with them again and I explained why.


I guess I will just order coffee and make an egg sandwich when we get home.

First of all, I don’t care what size someone is they are entitled to nice enjoyable meals. Commenting negatively on someone else’s meal is just mean and tacky. Second of all, sorry your DH didn’t listen If mine did that I would at least make him buy me a donut on the way home afterward

Go and order half the menu then let them pay and take home enough for lunch! If you’re hungry eat. Just because she starves herself doesn’t mean you should.

In other news it’s raining cats, dogs, and pigs and horses here! Sounds like I’m going to have to look for my trash cans in the morning.

I need to hit the grocery store tomorrow too. It is close to the restaurant. Maybe I will get something from the deli.
