Official Squatch Watchers

I vote concrete in the future given how it is built. Bagged concrete is heavy as all get out but cheaper than a truck.....
Depending on how much you have to fill in it may be a decent option.
Is there concrete under where your bird is standing in the pic?

I was going to but power has been iffy here today. :hmm
Even though my weather was fine today my power has been out twice. I have no idea why.

Took a little stew juice outside for the kids and took a couple pictures.

The backside...now i'm convinced Lulu isn't right. That is the start of a derp charge aimed at Hobo my friends, luckily she knows Lulu is "unique".:gig

I did not have a change to make farts. I thought I was getting company so did other things around the house. When that changed and the weather was nice I went out to the coop. It was good the birds were outside while cleaned up all that yuck.

They live in the coop now so not sure cement would work. I think I would end up with something like this...

And full of pine shavings. I'm thinking maybe a vapor barrier with pavers. The big 12x12 size. That way they won't wick up moisture from the dirt but there won't be that gap for moisture to sneak under the pallets either.

Yeah you would end up having to put a cage above the concrete while it dried. :hmm

If it were cement not in the coop I'd get a chicken to walk across it! How taterin cute would that be as a sidewalk. But the thought of having to get poop out footprints in the coop sounds awful.

Oh totally adorable!

Maybe a wire bent into a chicken foot shape and make one without gooping up actual chicken feet.
