That rooster is the loudest one though lol!
Tomorrow is the first candle on the eggs, i'm exited!

ALl three of my young adult kids are singing praises about these new pimple patches that suck all the gross stuff out while you sleep.

I tried to find them, but none of the stores I checked had them.

I’m hoping your kid is a fast learner, makes excellent decisions, and has a very dedicated guardian angel.

I hope so too. Last time I took her out there was people at the high school. She kept looking over there to see if she knew anyone. I'm like Stop looking over there. I don't care about that, drive the car.

I have a whole symphony going on
Turkey hens are yelping: wanting to breed in the morning and searching for the perfect spot for an egg in the afternoon. Toms are gobbling trying to show who is best.

One hen jumped out and was inspecting the burn pile.

I'd forgotten how loud they can all be, even the ones that aren't doing anything cheer for the others.
Poor rooster is going to dance himself to death, not to mention running back and forth to fetch hens.
Today they're just full of themselves!
Thanks for reminding me I need to move the burn cage so they can have the ashes.

Our neighborhood is oddly quiet........most of my neighbors that have/had chickens do not have covered runs or in some cases not even a coop.

The hawks and foxes have been very active.

My birds are the noisy ones......likely because I still have all of mine.

I just checked our extended forecast.

I better be getting busy in the garden tomorrow!
We are going to be warm! I can perhaps get plants moved and a couple beds moved then covered to heat up.

I've been in unoccupied buildings, besides me that is, and the alarm goes off. No one shows up. I've always said I'm the best burglar. I take out the trash and clean the toilets after breaking in!

The one time the police were actually involved...

Yes my work had a mannequin. No he had no real purpose. Yes he is missing a hand. No I did not name him. Yes I dressed him up for the holidays. Usually as a surprise to the people that actually worked there.

Exactly! And it was dark when the police came in. Manny standing in a corner.

He used to scare the taters out of me. He would appear and disappear randomly. Finally I hadn't seen him in months so I asked where he was. Then they started to tell me when they would put him out. Full on Santa at Christmas. In a Jason mask behind the bosses desk. Once I started dressing him up they left him in one place. I think they liked the surprise. LOL
