HI Sassy Seems like forever

Hi guys.

We made it to PA for DH’s Grandmother’s b-day party. Traveling was easier because both my in-laws bowed out of the trip because they felt sick, and sicknesses aren’t something to bring to a nursing home. We are all tired. Thing 1 didn’t get his nap today, so he is riding the edge of a tantrum. The crisis is currently being averted with milk and saltines. I think he was a bit hangry as well as tired.

I stopped in at tractor supply today hoping they had the chick food I prefer to use.

They had 3 week old light Brahma on sale for a buck!


I did not get any.

I couldn’t remember why I never bought any at TSC, isn’t it because you have to buy 10?

I didn't even ask if they have minimum numbers requirements.
There is the fact that almost all the chicks they order are straight run.

I was actually impressed that the young man tending to the bird area seemed to care. He gathered 2 bantams that had pasty but very gently to take them to the back for cleaning.

Well I just lost a piglet that was dumped by mom,but my niece who was subject of an amber alert was found safe and sound. Ben on a bit of an emotional roller coaster.

Oh no John. I am so sorry about the piglet. I am so thankful your neice was found!!! Alabama has had 2 missing girls and only 1 had a happy ending. I don’t understand the amber alert system. I guess there wasn’t enough information for authorities to make ours an official “amber alert.” It was just broadcast through news and social media.
Raising kids nowadays is so challenging.
