Official Squatch Watchers

I'm running out of chicken names so some of ya'll might become chickens @staceyj you're already decided just waiting because I want you to be a hen . I am weighing personalities too before I name, so be aware you might become a chicken...a derpy chicken.:gig
I’d be flattered regardless! :bow

The good thing about snow this time of year is, it doesn't stick around very long

The spring snow usually softens the dirt here too. Then even if I cannot get into the garden I can at least get that nasty runner grass pulled much easier.
That is very difficult once the ground hardens. I am looking forward to getting after it. :yesss:

Oh my gosh! What a weekend. I cannot believe you did all that driving for contacts. I didn’t know she was clogging. I always wanted to clog when I was young. I would do it now if I could find a teacher.
Check out local dance studios. Clogging is big down south so you might find one. There's a few other studios around here that have clogging, one of our teachers fills in there. We have an adult group too.
That's from our xmas recital this year.

Yay Tucks is broody just what I needed lol! I have really got to get off my butt and fix that chick tractor.
They keep looking at me like they're expecting an outing out of me.
I'm using that yardgard fence instead of netting this time for a little more durability. Also got another kennel cab for the outing trips, normally I use a basket but they all won't fit for long.
Kennel cab is nice though, soft sided and top and side door. It should make things easier "hopefully".:)
LOL Of course NOW she's goes broody after you've done all the work. Can you toss the littles into her nest so she can raise them? I used cat carrier to carry ours out when they were little. They grow so fast that we ended up having to make a few trips after a couple of weeks.

Hope you didn't mind me answering for you .....:duc
Not at all! Saved me some typing.

Look at this vase my son made. He couldn’t wait until Mother’s Day.

Nice! Great details too.

Convinced chickens understand what i'm saying but choose to ignore me most of the time.
Tell them it is about to rain and they beat me to the coop. I just say it is getting dark and I have to fetch at least two.:hmm
Oh, they def do. They also remember things (when they want to) mine see me w/ a bucket and go check to see what I have. I collect eggs in buckets, but sometimes I bring treats in them too. Last night I walked up to the coop door and everyone started coming in. It was so convenient... I'd told them a little before that that it was time to go in soon. Unfortunately it doesn't happen all the time.

That's perfect!

2008 Tahoe.

Hey, did y’all see the Auburn gymnast who snapped both knees backwards? Oh my gosh!
Oh yeah.. it was horrible. I saw that she posted that she's retiring from gymnastics.. I thought "well yeah.." but she seemed to be in good spirits about it.

Morning everyone.

Hoping everyone is doing well.

Congrats on the dance wins Apryl!

:fl For Henrietta Sassy.

We are forecast to be 80+ degrees today. :th
Wow such a sudden change! Then snow tomorrow. :lau
Thanks & we've got that sudden winter too, not hitting 80's today, but it's sunny and "warm" in the 50's when I left for work this morning. I pulled the plexiglass out of their door window & now I'll have to put it back in tonight.

There's a website for that! https://pethelpful.com/farm-pets/List-of-Unique-Chicken-Names
after the past few days I think one should be named Custard.

Henrietta made it through the night. I could tell her stomach was bothering her last night. She didn’t want to sit and she kept humming. I didn’t see any obvious blood this morning. She will not drink her Corid water, but she ate yogurt, egg yolk and I left her with oats (good for diarrhea and soothing affects on the stomach ;) ) and buttermilk.

I read somewhere that the riboflavin (?) in oats blocks corid.

Also you might have to direct dose her the corid in a higher concentration.
