Yep.Can you post pics of your chicken tractors, please.
Oh for sure. I think it is always interesting to see how families do things differently. Hubby cannot stand to walk in the bathroom and see me pee. Where as BFF and her husband poop in from of each other.I think every mom who makes the decision to nurse their infants has to work out what strategy works best for them. It’s not at all black and white. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.
I don’t care how “helpful” the dad is. When you are nursing, it takes 100% of the pressure off then and it all falls to the mom.
Night time chick drama how iv'e missed you.
A baby derp was pooped on while I slept. I woke up to a screaming baby terrified of this "thing" stuck to it.
4:34 A.M , and i'm saving a baby derp from a turd.![]()
I went crazy raising 2 boys, idk how people do more than that. DIL has 4 kids. I think she just ignores them. She is supposed to be home schooling, but mostly she doesn't want to get out of bed early.I'm old and childless Rae, that shriek in the middle of the night is absolutely terrifying.
I think I tripped over everything possible thinking the worst and it is just a poop....girl I walked in your shoes for a second and my hat is off to you ! Don't know how any of the moms on here stay the least bit sane.
Will do! Lol!![]()
Yup. I made him get up when I need to tend to the boy, but need something else done as well (getting stuff to clean up puke or refilling water bottles when I was desperately thirsty). There were quite a few times that this meme REALLY spoke to me.I don’t care how “helpful” the dad is. When you are nursing, it takes 100% of the pressure off them and it all falls to the mom.
I know! I only pumped because I had an oversupply and needed to take the pressure off sometimes. Thing 1 NEVER took a bottle. I'm going to try to get this baby used to taking a bottle so that it is easier on DH when I take work trips. The first couple work trips were TORTURE for DH because Thing 1 did nothing but scream and cry while I was at the office.I did pump so hubby could help feed, but that just made triple the work on me. Raising a family is hard work.
I like my privacy.Oh for sure. I think it is always interesting to see how families do things differently. Hubby cannot stand to walk in the bathroom and see me pee. Where as BFF and her husband poop in from of each other.

Yup, depressingly common among fathers. He never even noticed them running off to bother me.
I close my bathroom doors because the dogs invade my privacy. Just recently, I have started to escape to the bathroom just to have a quiet moment aways from the kid and hubby. Sometimes I lose track of timeI like my privacy.
We had a discussion about that over the weekend.
And it was ugly.
The dog kept coming in.
First he stole my hairbrush. Then he came back for my underwear. Then he got a hold of the tail of the toilet paper and went running.
This brought back memories of how I trained myself to shower in under three minutes ... because of how the kids (and now the pets) would just randomly come crashing, tattling, screaming, squealing and crying into the bathroom on me.
They NEVER interrupted their dad. NEVER.
Because I wouldn’t allow it!
And let me tell you that the bathroom is that man’s sanctuary.
He never even noticed them running off to bother me.
It sure is hard being a mom.
