Morning Squatchers, have a great day!
Sassy I'm sorry you're going through thisMorning!
I am just beside myself with this hen not eating. This hen has consumed my thoughts in between the other 1000 things I am doing all day.
Now THAT is funny!
I love that craaaaazzzyyy chicken!
That is terrifying is what that is. Getting her off the nest isn't fun either, she bites and if you touch her head she'll scrunch up, puff up, and go backwards without fail.
The comb treatments are all kinds of fun and now I know she could sic the rooster on me.![]()
quinea is supposed to taste great, if he doesn't sell... or comes back LOLWell, we are selling one of our two guinea cocks. Just now, we found one of the guinea cocks back in the chicken pen harassing my main flock hens. We are assuming that it is the same guinea cock from last night as only one has gotten into the chicken paddock. So we caught him and I'm going to try selling him. It is too much work to chase him off every time he finds the chickens.
The biggest problem with that is that I haven't been able to cull any birds since I was about 9-10 weeks along. Thinking about it now makes me feel sick.quinea is supposed to taste great, if he doesn't sell... or comes back LOL
