I guess I can take her to the vet tomorrow, a hour away. Her poop is green. I have exhausted the Internet and not finding anything new. I think she is hungry though.

Anyway, I had something I wanted to tell y’all, but forgot what it was. Maybe I will think of it.

Aw dang Nunny.

I have wondered where hatcheries get all those eggs they hatch.
I really doubt every hatchery has secure breeding facilities for every breed they hatch.

Dang Bob that is HORRIBLE!
I really hope you don't lose any more.

I am going to have to cull Miss May.
Today her poop was looking like cooked egg yolk and she refuses to eat still.
Several years ago my Delaware was like that. Necropsy showed her abdomen full of nasty egg and infection.

I see nothing in her mouth. Other than a normal reaction to tube feeding, it is fine. I mean, who wants that? When I sit and feed her small balls of food, I get the stank eye and sometimes she will eat a little out of my hand as to say, “fine, you win.”
I don’t like prying her mouth open to feed her 50 bites. She has the cracked area on her beak, that looks healed, but I still am leery about it.
Sometimes when I walk in the room, she will start to peck at her food as to say, “I’m eating, back off.”
I bought my husband a camera, like an endoscope, to look into small spaces with. I am tempted to look down her esophagus and see what it looks like.

I think that’s actually a very cool idea. I’m assuming the light is an LED and doesn’t get hot?

It's ok. It IS a bummer but at least now I know what is wrong with her.
I don't want her to suffer.

the broody chicken that tore my wrist, when pecking a hole in my hand didn't work, looks like a saint next to a turkey that is just sitting on a nest not even broody yet

It's ok really. I know there are some things we just cannot fix or will cost more than possible.
