I have options. The lady I got the birds and eggs from is going out of town. (Why I got the eggs to hatch) She was looking for someone to check on her birds over the weekend. I said I would and she asked what I wanted for the work. I laughed and said I do have 24 eggs in my basement. So I may take more chicks.

Hi all!

I've had a pretty restful day so far. I got to lay in bed except to change movies until lunch time, then I made lunch for me and Thing 1. After lunch, I let Thing 1 watch a movie until he got fussy and I put him down for a nap. When he was sleeping, I handed the monitor to FIL and went out to the back to get a check cut for the septic guy so he can get started on work. Now I'm letting Thing 1 take a longer nap than usual. I hope I don't pay for it tonight.

My day got all tatered. :hmm
My son was supposed to be on vacation starting at 8am. He ended up working half the day. That meant this old woman had his dog half the day too. When he got home it started raining. So much for the outside plans.

Making sour cream pound cake for strawberry shortcake and a potato salad to go with leftover ham.

How is the air quality there lately? I developed allergy induced asthma as an adult. I get those same symptoms (feels-like-your-bra-is-too-tight tight-chestedness, elevated pulse etc) when there are high pollen counts, smog, or other environmental allergens. Also, did they check your peak flows? It is the test where you blow into a tube as hard as you can to check lung function. Mine are usually terrible :oops:
