I was wondering....do any of you notice that your chickens lay a tad bit less when its gloomy and rainy for days on end? Maybe it's just a coincidence?

I am at the big swap in Glen Allen VA. Got my spot under the roofed in area, in case it rains. Tomorrow should be crazy busy. Hoping to sell a lot to make the trip worth it.

I know she will sit the entire time and then some. I will order them through the feed store up north.
All the birds in that group are mellow so that the old Bitty has enough spunk to protect them.

She is top bird in that coop.
She raised all the others a few years ago.

Miss May is in that coop. She is eating a bit better on her own now. Mostly she wants fresh greens but I have seen her eating the wet mash some.

I do not have any reason to think May has anything contagious at all so I am not worried about adding to that group.

Bitty was a fierce mom with her previous kids.
