Good morning! I'm soooooooo excited. We are going to pick out our puppy today. The litter has 6 boys and 1 girl. Luckily we want a boy. They are 6 weeks old today so we won't bring him home for a couple of weeks. Now we are trying to decide on a name. We have about 4 we really like so hopefully once we pick him out, one of the names will jump out at us.
How exciting! Soak up that puppy breath for me, I love puppy breath. One puppy will pick you out to be his furever momma!

A legbar girl about the same size as bra baby.

I have ALL the babies. And 3 incubators running. LOL It started because she was going out of town.
I got babies for my broody and we were talking then she wanted to keep the hatching going but was worried about leaving them unattended. So I got babies and an incubator full of eggs that day.
Help she thought she had to check her adults fell through and I'm literally 5 min away so I told her I could check the adults too. The weather turned a little cold and stormy right before she left and she was worried about littles that had just hatched. I told her bring them over. So tiny babies and 2 more incubators came to my house.
She got back to town and other personal matters came up. She's been with her parents a lot and it was easier to bring ALL babies here. So they were loaded up and voila I'm the nursery. LOL
If you ever want to move, come here so you can take care of my animals if I leave town. :D

That is super nice of you Nunny.

I am glad you were able to help her. The babies are a nice "bonus".

I bet you are super busy with all the babies and incubators.

You're very kind Nunny

It’s not too bad. I have them set up in 3 brooders. Little bitties which are mostly silkies. Wing feathered then growing out.

I must recommend horse stall pellets for brooders! The bitties were 2 weeks with the same pellets and I changed them. The feathered wings had shavings for about 2 days and they were gross. Now everyone is on pellets!

I'm going to have to start transitioning mine outside soon, i'm thinking Monday.
Get that other pen set up in the coop and start letting them have the run for about a week.
The only thing holding me back is i'm waiting on more plastic fence. I plan on putting a layer on the wire of the run for these babies, last time I had chicks trying to squeeze out holes....no bueno!
