How did the hatches from your other eggs go?
well The wlr cornish are due today and they are just sitting there so far. I checked the 2 that had good aircells and they look developed. Didn't check the rest.
I had put 4 of my eggs, in due yesterday, so far 1 hatched. 2 were sloshy so i took them out. I put the unhatched turkey egg in, maybe a late quiter or just late.
The turkeys had been in the incubator until just before lockdown when I moved them to broody turkeys.. so the incubator was working right.
Another turkey hen has 6 eggs, at least 2 hatched. She isn't moving yet.
The White Cornish are due the 8th.

Good to know :)

I was asking about your other turkey eggs by other BYCers. It seems like they were having issues.

Ah
Breeder! had no live ones, stumpy died too... thank goodness. He has a broody chicken so we are figuring out when I can get him more eggs. I think the humidity was too low, but that doesn't explain stumpy.
Faraday40 had 6 eggs scattered at 4 schools and at home. I think she is waiting on word if the last one has hatched. I know the ones that hatched are with feet :ya

I don't get people and roundup. I guess they don't know what the crap is.
Sorry about the bushes Henny.:(
The rich neighbor here has the orkin man and his yard people spraying lord only knows what all the time!
Like p*ssing in the wind honestly, there will always be bugs and weeds.
The neighbor next to us said the bug man was going to spray for black widow spiders and wanted us to do it too. I informed her that it was pointless since the poison needed to be sprayed directly on the widow and there was no residual black widow poison.

She told me that she was doing it anyway and was a bit miffed at me

This is why I’m glad my neighbors are farther away.

The cute little surprise fluffers.

@WVduckchick these we’re hatched by the chickens I got from the eggs you gave me with the chocolate hens.

And I'm the neighbor who has yet to now their lawn and just released lady bugs into the bushes.:lau
1/3 of my lawn is mowed, somebody takes my gas can so that is how it is. Love ladybugs, even though they bite a little.:)

Nothing gets sprayed, or squashed here if anything it gets relocated. The spray just effects too many other things, and i'm not killing a bug for being a bug. ;)

I will try and root some cuttings as well as trying the pin down method.

Yes my shrubs were quite large at 7' tall.
I started with pretty good sized shrubs 15 years ago. I know we paid $42 each for them back then even.

I am surrounded by people that spray Willy nilly.
:barnie

I got all excited when I saw a grasshopper last summer. I gave him a lift to a chicken free zone in the front yard.

I don't spray anything except wasp nests. Hubby is very allergic to them. :hmm
