I went to get feed and that store had 2 derps left. They are roughly 5 days old.
So far so good.

What breed? I have no clue what a derp is.

Derps are what folks on this thread call Salmon Faverolles. Chickassin has told us many stories of the....specialness...of this breed.

Note that Derp can be used as almost any part of speech. Verb, noun, adjective, exclamation—get creative with it!

I think I might have a bad boy out there. Watched Hobo's kid follow Beavis around the tractor, the whole time he's doing this long drawn out peep. She stuck her face to the fence and the little goober flogged.
He's still just a baby, but he was intense he wasn't playing.

I've found Dominique cross cockerels to royal pains in the tater. Oddly enough, my Cochin/Doms were worse than my New Hampshire/Doms.
