Ron is totally right that making homemade baked goods is your best option for finding things that are wholesome, low carb, and delicious. I would be happy to start PMing you low carb dessert recipes if you are interested.

When you are shopping for pre-made stuff though, a really good thing to do is to try to find high fiber options. They are often naturally lower in carbs and sugars PLUS if somethings is high enough in fiber (at least 4g fiber per serving) you can essentially deduct the fiber from the carbs to get the net carbs.

So for example, you said you had a Sprouts near by right? At the Sprouts by my house, they usually have some flax-based baked goods in the gluten-free dessert area. Gluten free does necessarily mean low carb but flax is awesome stuff. I really like these carrot raisin muffins (especially with a little cream cheese). They are by no means "carb free" but they have way more fiber and much lower net carbs than normal wheat based muffin. so maybe a good option if you are feeling deprived of baked goods.

Same fiber rule goes for bread. At our Sprouts they often have some higher fiber options in the refrigerated case next to the normal breads.

Anyway tl:dr look at fiber as well as carbs and sugars when you are shopping and checking labels.

I'm with you, think it is shifty fence at best. Who goes in the red to ship a roll of fence?
Packaging was also odd, made a box out of a kayak box and threw exactly 5 packing peanuts in the bottom good to know the fence was protected.:p
How is that even possible?! I swear a lot of that stuff 'fell off a truck'.

Wow. They really put a lot of faith in those five little peanuts huh?

I would love to have any recipes anyone has!!!! Post them or message them to me. Last year, I got into Trim Healthy Mama and got away from using white flour and sugar. My family wasn’t on board with most things, and something I really enjoyed. It was a whole new way of eating for me and it took up so much time in the kitchen. I love to cook and bake, but most days I need it to be quick and easy.
