The whole time i'm washing she's steadily going into the neck of my shirt. I literally got her out of the tub in my t-shirt.
I had a parrot fly into a fly strip. STUCK! Many feathers lost, pulling off the sticky yellow strip. Fly strip goo on all feathers that remained! Into the sink (with long Hose faucet) and much Dawn dish soap later, and a blow-dry, hen parrot lived. Lots of scratches and beak marks on my body! Ever after, she wanted to climb into my arms for safety. Birds are smart, it was not fun for either of us!I think they're a mix, they act like both!
