Just got the inspection done on our new place. Looks like it's moving time for real. Only problem was termites in an out building. And a plumbing leak in the bunkhouse, which the owner is repairing tomorrow. Can't believe it, we are finally moving!View attachment 1786955 This is the extra kitchen in the bunkhouse. Needs a new faucet, and clean up! It is the current owners "Man Cave", so he did not care about the kitchen. But, the big old sink and 50's linoleum counter top look like a great place to do some dirty work with some roosters to me!

You could do some serious processing in that kitchen!

It has gas pipe, we have to look into getting the gas re-connected. Then a vintage gas stove is in order! There is an on-demand gas water heater, too. Right now, there is a small freezer in there, it would hold a lot of cockerels. This "extra" kitchen is bigger than the on in our house now. The one in the house is even bigger. It does not need any work, and we can work on the other one easier that way! This house was listed for a long time for a reason, but we like the old houses before the HG TV watchers put in all that granite in the kitchens!

Could you damn the creek a bit to slow the drying up?
I obviously don't have a creek. I'm usually up a creek without a paddle. LOL

To be honest, we have been having more problems with the homeless population out here in Seattle. Our climate doesn't help much, but I would think Atlanta has the same issues. Honestly, though, the airport here is outside the city, and the homeless cause fewer problems. There are plenty of hotels within 5 miles of the airport, and all have courtesy shuttles. The airport doesn't allow the homeless to be on the premises, so that's not an issue. The airport also has it's own police department. At this point she has a higher risk of exposure to the measles here and in New York, than actually having a homeless person come up to her during an overnight layover here.

I have yet to find a pasta shaped or pasta like item that is even remotely ok.
Sprouts has pasta made from things other than wheat but the carb count is just as high of not higher. :hmm

It is sad really.

I haven't found one that doesn't taste like carp to me anyway... I though with enough good spaghetti sauce even cardboard would taste good.... nope.. dog ate it but wasn't thrilled

Most of the decent GF pasta I've had is grain based, so that won't help.

Try Asian noodles. They use blackbean pasta which is higher in protein. They also have other noodles that are made from things other than grains.
There's a new buzz at my house!

Welcome Ladies!

And the entertainment of watching a chicken chase a bee is fantastic. Hopefully they don't catch any. LOL
Neato! We are thinking about getting bees at some point down the line.
