Now you know chicken poop makes weeds happy even the wind off it does!
There is a poke salad plant behind the coop here that is pretty much a poke salad tree.
Yeah Cesar has caught a nibble or six, but he wasn't being the alpha....be the alpha Henny! :D
Oh and :woot for greenhouse fortitude!

@FlyingNunFarm
Nunny I was thinking and if you can't find a window to fit that hole you cut if you go to lowes or home depot with your measurements they'll cut a piece of plexiglass to fit perfectly.:)

Those weeds are also WAY to happy in that pile of half composted horse leavings. :hmm
Yeah that sheep stuff I got had a bunch of horse apples in it. I put all that in a heap where the compost pile should be.
I have never seen healthier bind weed. :(

Micro rant...
I find myself feeling like the little red hen.
The last 3 years I have gotten very very little help around here.

I'm heading to amazon in hopes of finding more potting soil and pots. Everyone around here is out and I've rooted a couple dozen suckers and need a place to put them. :barnie

Our local recycle center has a big bin of pots people have brought in. They are free for the taking.
I wonder if your area has something like that.

I had the windows already. When we rebuilt the coop I even framed in for them. That's why a sawzall would be useful. Just run the blade down the frame and wallah!

Hi guys.

I’ve been lurking but not posting today. Good news bad news time... maybe TMI so skip to the next paragraph if you don’t want to know. The swelling and hemorrhoids are going down nicely. However, that means I can now feel my stitches. By the end of the day, I’m hurting bad. It’s almost worst than the pain of the swelling and hemorrhoids because it is unpredictable and stabby rather that just a constant throbbing.

In other news, the Milk Drinker is doing great except for the fact that the poor little guy is covered in baby acne. He looks like he has the plague. I have to keep a tight reign on my inner nit-pick. I want to pop all those little white heads. That wouldn’t be good for him.

Also, our last guinea hatch of the year (unless we find more eggs) has happened. We had two broodies hatch out 13 keets! I’m going to sell about 10 of them and let the broodies raise the remaining 3 for tick control over near the new houses.

@Texas Kiki @staceyj
A bigger flock is better when it comes to guineas.
