Not the shortest move we have made, once we moved one block. BUT, since it was such a short distance, DH put my sewing machine on the back of the pick-up, not secured. Needless to say, lost one sewing machine in the intersection! ONE Block!

I would be devestated!

4 miles. More than one truck trip, the first one is for the Guy Tool Stuff. 11x14 shed, packed and moving Fri, 7-12. Veteran's Moving Co. -- is on the calendar!

We only had to move 100 yards down the lane (and we still aren’t done). Hoping this will be our last move.

I told DH that he couldn’t pile my parents’ quad bed high without strapping things in, even for that distance. We ended up with a huge box of duplos (legos but bigger) spread all over the driveway. Fortunately, the people who were helping us move brought kids and they had all the pieces back in the box in a jiffy.

Ouch. That had to hurt. Not only did it have sentimental value, they don’t make those machines like they used to.

My Grandpa's too! Why do you think it is soooo hard to move all the stuff in the tool shed? I have my Grandmother's tool box from when she worked for Douglas in WWII. It is engraved with her name and SS#. Keeping it. Forever.
