You got a pigeon???? :lau
That’s exactly what I called it! I’ve gotten a few small ones here and there and figured it was the D’Uccles but I may have a new layer.
I have 4 Crested Cream Legbar, BB the Americauna, FBCM, and a Barnevelder at 14 weeks.
The Spits are in the middle...12 weeks?
Another Barnevelder and the Satin Silkie and Frizzle are around 10 weeks.

I’ve seen one CCL in a box checking it out. No one squats but they are usually running around being teenagers.

The egg was white right?

Has to be a D'Uccle. Unless you have a very young bird laying off color for the breed.

Man, I get one broody broke and immediately get another, Tucks this time.
Luckily she is pretty easy to talk out of it.
We don't need more kids right now especially siblings, three full derp sisters and two halfs are plenty! The boy is the least trouble.:lau

Not surprised, not one little bit. :D
You think the new box has anything to do with actually getting eggs before Peanut?
Bitty and the kids are in the corner again.

I got 2 eggs from that coop which is HUGE since Peanut the egg eater is in there.

I am seeing a very red comb and near squatting from the other green layer. Either Cassie is an awesome layer giving me an egg each day since she started laying (except skipped the day after her first egg) or I have both laying.
I look forward to the blue layers starting up. :pop

I am not sure. I did catch her waiting in the coop for Chaos to lay yesterday. I grabbed her and took her for a walk with me to the big coop. I set her down in front of those nest boxes where 3 broody hens puffed up and growled.

Morning folks :frow

Good Morning everyone :frow
:hugs
Morning everyone.

A nice decent temp outside. It feels good to not be roasting. :p

Lots to do in the garden this morning. The bind weed is creeping in on me. I plan to put a stop to that and even though it is the end of July I think I can still get some turnip greens going.
