Good morning! It feels nice out there again....i'm starting to get scared! Lol! :D

Good morning, had a nice surprise yesterday! A blue egg in the CCL pen, so one of them started laying. :clap
:frow

Well, I tripped on and busted my butt on...a turtle.
We are both fine, he's a boy made that super clear.
No idea why he felt that was necessary.:lau
What kind of turtle? How big was it?

Oh my... I was reading that first line and thought “tiny humans egg? What did I miss?” Clearly I have a chicken brain.
Ha! I've had to double check to make sure I was spelling eeg not egg every time I write it.

Sorry about the red, they're under a heat lamp.
I love your feather duster hen! Do you think it works?

@apryl29 Does tiny human have pseudo-seizures? DD#3 has them. Lorazepam and CBD help her.
IDK. They just said everything was normal and that she thinks it's anxiety, which her pediatrician has said when we saw him. I took her to the counselor and after the intake procedure and 293849 questions she said she thought it was neurological so I contacted her neurologist. They said it also sounded like anxiety, but wanted the testing to rule out seizures. So now we're back to anxiety. We made an appt for the 7th at the intake just in case the neurologist found nothing so she'll talk to them and see what happens from there. She said she feels weird like her body is slow to react, but it's something that never happened until she went on this ride when she was on her class trip. I still kinda think it's her ear crystals that got knocked loose, but her ped didn't think so. Either way, we'll keep going til we find out what's going on, but at this point she's avoiding things that jolt her around like the ride did since she had the same problem after going down the water slide on the same trip.

Well Beavis has gone to her new home guy just left.
Found a slightly more familiar setting for her.
She'll have a flock "no rooster" goats and human girl children.
They keep pretty much like she's used to, a coop and daytime yard running.
First guy I noped out on, he only had three older hens in a run 24/7.
She's not cool with that. :)

Awww, little Luci and C.C.:love

It is fine, i'm just glad I didn't land on him.:)
It sounds like a nice place. I hope it works out for her.

YAY! Congrats!

In 10 days of laying Cassie has given 8 pretty little eggs.
Pretty good for a beginner. :D
Nice! At least someone is earning their keep.

Hi all. I’ve been a bit busy since I got back home.

The Milk Drinker is growing like crazy. I weighed him yesterday and he was 14lb 10oz and he is only a month old.

Fun fact, did you know ebay gives sellers your phone number so they can harass you to remove negative feedback?
Well they do, isn't that nice? I'm not removing it. Best way not to get it is not deserve it. :rant

Big box turtle, a little smaller than half a soccer ball. In my defense I thought he was wood.:)
I hope Beavis does well too. Anything is better than getting her wig split on a regular basis. It went way past normal chicken BS, they would have killed her.:(

That is a decent sized turtle! I am glad you both are ok.

Yeah Cassie is a trooper! So far 100% in the nest boxes too. I am super happy about that!

Wig splitting :barnie!
I am blessed that mine keep skirmishes to a bare minimum.

Thoughts on a potential disaster please....

Ok so my sewing room really doesn't function well.
I have a giant corner desk from an office cubicle....not working because it is either the deep corner or a very shallow 18" section to work off.
I am thinking of taking the lower back off and making that the top. It would be 29" deep that way. I would so It the corner off so I have a full length at 18" to be the back stringer between the sides.
It is MDF soooooo maybe L brackets to hold it together?

Sewing desk out of the corner desk sound do able. MDF is a kind of funky material but as long as you drill your pilot holes for your brackets it shouldn't split on you.
The brackets should give plenty of support.:)

I am thinking of hunting for slim base cabinets for kitchens.....maybe just the ticket to strengthen it up good and plenty.
If I can find 4 cabinets I can use 2 for the other table that wobbles just enough to make me nervous.
Lots of ideas......

That is a good idea, it would give you more storage too.
My sewing table, when it isn't piled up with hub's junk came from an old curtain factory.
It is heavy as a mofo, but support on one side is just a single leg.
It worries me. :lau

Wow, he's a big boy, & a cutie! How's T1 doing being a big brother? Has everyone adjusted to the new housing?

That's terrible. Can you block them? Personally I'd email ebay about the harassment.

That's a big turtle! Around here we either have HUGE snappers, or little sliders. Glad you didn't squish him. I probably would have thought he was wood too, but then I probably would have tried to step on it if I did.

I can't visualize what you're trying to say.. Is the desk of the style that you can just cut off the 18" section and leave you with the rest of the desk? You could even turn the table top around so the cut off portion is against the wall if the desk top is removable.
