Round Up tough brush & weed killer - knocks out kudzu, poison ivy, even English Buckthorn (shrubs and tree form). But I swore off Round up after hearing about major health concerns. It always did a great job for me not immediately but ,within a couple weeks see everything looking very poorly.

I'd also like something I can put a plow on for those occasional snow's and I need to get a spreader for my gator for deicer when we get freezes. No way my truck can make it up the drive with ice.

ETA: The pro's charge me $200 every other week and it takes them about two hours to get it done. But they stop at the swing. I'd like to do the rest down to the road, it's not nearly as steep and about 40' wide by a 1/4 mile long.

My aspirations are much more ordinary, I just wish for someone to wash my dishes. Son won't come for a visit till the late holidays and he'll probably raise a stink just like he did earlier this month. :hit

Me too. :hugs
Someone else ANYONE else is more than welcome to do dishes here.

I hate dusting and I hate dishes. Okay, I'm not great at doing floors. Bending is painful and I can't do kneeling since I got out of high school. I do love doing laundry, and will inspect every item to make sure any spots or stains are pre treated. My late mom would be proud of me.

If you want to do all that you need a lawn tractor not a mower Bob.
They're more powerful and have all the attachment hookups.:)

I'll get pics of the offending weeds tomorrow, didn't get down there with the camera. Meanwhile for those of you with riding mowers... Here's the terrain of my front yard, my pasture has a more gradual slope. What are your thoughts on what I need. I'm way out of my depth here.

It looks like you need one of those lawnmowers you see on the freeway, with the extendable arm.

In all seriousness the steepness of the hill is a safety issue. Riding lawnmowers have a tendency to be unbalanced on hills.
A lawn tractor or even a tractor will probably be the safest and most versatile for you.

Hubs asked if I was cranky......:hmm.......

Um......nope......pot all over the driveway.....tools all over the stoop......someone else's trash filling my trash can......so much carp I am sure it will end up behind my motorcycle.....not that I can get it out with a stupid pot stinking trailer in the driveway.....totally taking up any chance of not having to carry chicken feed from across the tatering road.......nope not cranky at a.l.l. :hmm

edited to add.....all the trash that won't fit in the can is now in the bed of MY TRUCK. Not that I need my truck or anything.
:barnie:rant:he

Exactly!!
and maybe this too....

It's ok.....I will move that thing if I have to. No tags so it cannot be on the street.

I told hubs he better hang onto the original search warrant just in case....cause K-9 units lol.

I did finally let him know I am sick of never getting ANY help around here. He mowed the front yard. :)
