The poor derp guy was by himself after I sold his buddy. I put the last pullet I had left for sale in with him for company. She pecked him on the leg until he bled. So they each have their own space now.

Morning everyone.

Going to get hot fast today.

I guess I better get my outside stuff done early. Mostly just watering plants and cleaning chicken dishes I think.

I keep seeing those wasps around the yard. I haven't found anymore nests so .

I definitely see Virginia creeper. Hate that weed with a passion.
He is correct it is a long term battle.

My jerk of a neighbor has it along a fence. I find it in my gardens and make sure to dig it out while small.
It can take down a house it is so vigorous in its growth.

There is a lot of dry material under all those vines......
Be super careful burning it.

If I was certain about not being allergic and certain no poison ivy was in there I would be tempted to use a tractor to literally scoop it up and out to a cleared burn pile area.
You do not want to burn poison ivy. It releases toxins into the air that are dangerous when burned.

I had never seen the bit about the thumbs. That's interesting. I generally stay away from anything with 3 leaves. Poison Ivy loves me.
