I drilled a hole big enough for a braided rope and used that to secure it. I tie it so I can just untie it if it needs adjusted. The rope that hangs down, I've put a couple pull ties on it to make it a little more sturdy. I can take pics later if that'd help. They don't knock it over, but they do knock feed out, mostly swiping their heads back and forth. Looking for a certain type of feed, I assume. I swear they do it on purpose b/c there's no other reason there's so much feed on the floor. If I'm cleaning I just lift it up and set it on one of the poop boards to get it out of the way.


Wow. You'd think they'd have taken 10 seconds to take a vacuum to it if that's the case. Maybe his boss thought it'd be a nice bonus for him.

Lol not a bonus.
The next stop for the trailer was the crusher. Hubs buys salvageable motorcycles from his boss, fixed them and makes a good profit. The trailer was given to him because the value at the crushed was only going to be about $25.

Don't get me wrong it would make a great work trailer or hunting trailer. It is super sturdy and fully enclosed. The wiring was awful and it needs some paint but it has good bones, good time and a brand new set of tires.
 
Or you could shove all your hub's junk in it lol.:D

I do believe he already has it sold! :celebrate

We have that neighbor that hunts all the time. His kids also grew into avid hunters. They were over yesterday checking it out.
Yes hubs will still rewire it. Seriously hacked up wiring job is what it had.

Oh as to the contents of cars, trucks, and trailers headed for the scrap yard.... All that stuff usually ends up in the dumpster. The trailer had a 500+ dollar shade canopy in it. That is getting sold separately.

Mostly I get irritated at the junk getting tossed here at the house. So much interference with what I had needed to do. :hmm

That and the side yard is at times buried in motorcycles. :rolleyes:

If nothing else you'll feel better or at best you'll get a laugh.
Nice find on the 500 shade, best thing iv'e found was a leaf bag full of unopened pacifiers.:)

I guess the best thing is he DOES sell and make money off the oddball stuff.


Soooooo working on that spare room.....I got really irritated at where my daughter had a corner aquarium that apparently had a slow leak....for a loooooong time. The flooring is destroyed big time.

added today to my to do list is cut out the damaged area and patch then do a floating laminate floor. :hmm
Good dang thing I know how to do all this maintenance carp.

I did see pallets of laminant flooring at Benny's.....I wonder how much he will want for 100 square feet of it.

Putting the basement floor in was a pain in the knees. This is a much smaller area at least.

Pretty sure this is the same one that was stuck in the feeder. facepalm-gesture-smiley-emoticon.gif

No idea how she managed this or how long she was stuck. But she's fine. I made sure she got a drink undisturbed to cool off. Then she just started chickening like nothing happened.
