Iv'e got too much really calm wildlife.
Putting the kids up giant deer in the field super close chickens aren't happy, deer finally goes away.
Go in the coop make sure little derps are settled in step out almost on a skunk which runs under the coop...sh*t.
Get a broom handle and try to shoo it, little butt plays with it!
Finally got it shooed and the kids in bed lol.
I'm blocking the under coop off tomorrow, im not doing that again.:D
 
When I had surgery on my leg many, many years okay. I got discharged right after Thanksgiving and asked Dr. if I could go Xmas shopping.

He said don't go running around. I take things quite literally and went shopping walking slowly. Of course a couple stitches popped and had some blood seepage. Back to doctor. He said he knew that would happen. :idunno
 
Morning y'all.

Lots of big thunder during the night. Yes that meant my old dog was freaked out.
It doesn't look like any rain came with the noise.

One of our girls has learned to open gates. They both had a grand time running around the big chicken run scaring birds. :hmm
The gates now have hooks on the latches.
I have around the big run planted thick getting them out of that area was a challenge.

Nothing quite compared to Chicky's skunk playing with a broom. :lau
That is quite a visual there. It is a good thing he didn't release the stink. :sick

You are a very brave woman. I would never engage a skunk.. you must be more in tune w/ nature than anyone ever.

Sounds like something my kid would do. She went to school today wearing a regular knee brace instead of the immobilizer. She said she's going to march during band & refused to take the note from the er that says she shouldn't. I told her this morning when she's sitting in a wheelchair b/c she had to have surgery on her knee I don't want to hear her crying about it. I told her if she wanted a ride home from school to let me know b/c I'm not a complete monster but she's going to be hurting later and I want her to feel that pain b/c maybe she'll listen [she won't].

Jack the old dog opens gates and doors with round and lever handles. I think he has been giving lessons. :hmm
 
Morning folks!

I’m on day 6 of the little one sleeping through the night! Its amazing! My boobs have adjusted to the change and it seems I still have plenty of milk for him.

We need get ready to go on Thursday. DH, Thing 1 and I have dentist appointments on Friday. We will be spending the weekend with friends and getting a hotel room Sunday so I can go into work on Monday.

Oh wow. I've heard of cats & dogs opening doors by jumping on them esp the ones w/ the bar type handles, but not actual door knobs.
