Just ignore her, if she realizes you are proud, she'll revert to punish you.

Ugh. I almost gave him a piece of my mind but resisted. I saved the conversation in case I misunderstood him. Seriously unprofessional! There are very few people on the job that I would have not minded hearing that sort of joking from, but he certainly isn’t one of them and today wasn’t the day to do it.

Hi everyone. Happy Friday!
I had a doozy of a day and wanted to drop kick someone for the first time in a while. Today is the normal off Friday for most of my co-workers. They work a 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 business days) and get every other Friday off. Since I have every Monday off, I cover the off Friday. Today was going to be a tight day anyway because I had a good bit of work and limited hours left for the week. Well, some work I was supposed to get on Tuesday got dumped on me at 12:30 this afternoon as an URGENT request. This is normally 3+ hours of work. After dumping some of my other tasks off on a co-worker who was kind enough to come in on his day off, I got it done in 2hrs. When I was done, I saw I had another similar request that would take approximately 1.5 hours, but time I didn’t have. So I IMed the guy who sent it (someone I email in group emails often but have only IMed a few times) to ask him if he needed this stuff today. He said “Yes”. Queue panic mode! About 30 seconds later he messages that he’s joking. I say “oh good, that almost gave me a heart attack”. He teases by saying “What? You don’t want to be here until midnight?” I then explain the limited hours situation and say “Thanks, I’ll let the team know this can wait until Monday.” He responded “You have the rest of the weekend to work on it.” I start panicking again. My week ends Sunday at 11:59pm and next week doesn’t start until Monday at midnight, so the hours problem still exists. He then said he’s just messing with me.... AGAIN!Ugh. I almost gave him a piece of my mind but resisted. I saved the conversation in case I misunderstood him. Seriously unprofessional! There are very few people on the job that I would have not minded hearing that sort of joking from, but he certainly isn’t one of them and today wasn’t the day to do it.
I’m wondering if I should bring it up with my manager (who isn’t this guy’s manager I think) to ask how I should handle something like this.
