Official Squatch Watchers

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ice cream. I ran out and can't get to a store till Wednesday. :smack.

All I have is a tub of biscotti with chocolate icing on the bottom. I already ate several but, it's not the same. Plus they taste (I imagine) like milk bones. Really need to be dipped in coffee (which I don't drink) . Why I bought them I will never know. Sam's club had them for 7.98 but moved them to clearance and "raised" the price to $ 9.98. Duh!
Can you dip the biscotti in milk or hot chocolate?

Some really cute fat bunny faces!

Awwww <3 They look sooo soft!

Well...ive got a confession.
Remember when I got my panties twisted over hub's reaction to my sleep talking?
Well....come to find out it is pretty damn terrifying now lol!
He filmed it and I might need one of those greasy preachers for reals.:lau
Anyhoo, since that iv'e been fairly narcoleptic, yup.
I fall asleep anywhere toilet, tub, sitting in my chair.
One night I dumped a whole pepsi in my lap at 3
AM.
Sooooo that is why im a smidge bit quieter.View attachment 1935076 But I found this while I was derpin.:D
Could it be stress related? Have you considered taking those melatonin gummies? Apparently it's a big thing now to help people sleep w/o using sleep meds.

Yes! Even zucchini lasagna!!! That is pretty tasty too!

Thinking I just be hungry right now. :lau

Being active all day keeps my glucose lower. I find I feel hungrier when I am busy too. :hmm
All that raking must be working.

Kitty jammies needing hemmed and the waist done yet. I need hubs to try them on so I get those at the right height.

Nice jammies! Great job!

I noticed higher prices too. :hmm

Not to happy about it either. It seems every time I go grocery shopping I bring home fewer bags but still paid more.
Same. It's ridiculous how expensive stuff is now. I spent $120 on about 8 bags of groceries the other day and they do not fill those bags. They justify raising prices on everything, but can't justify raising minimum wage.

Then Derps might be cranky at the delay. :lau

Chilly damp mornings. :tongue

There are Soooooo many feathers laying around here I am surprised I am getting ANY eggs.
Crooky is looking pretty rough. I am going to try and give JUST HER some mackerel and boiled eggs today.
I may boil eggs for everyone ...... It is really hard to segregate just her and her her to eat. :hmm

They have all been getting a little extra the last couple weeks. Poor molty burbs.
Good idea! I've got some sad molters too. My white one is naked & the run looks like someone's been plucked. I bet they'd love some eggs.

The thing that really got me is that he waited until she had been under his care for 16 weeks before giving her this form, which means she was most likely between 26 and 30 weeks pregnant. Why on earth couldn't he have told her this at the beginning of her pregnancy so she could more easily find another doctor? From the woman's comments and the last line of the form, my husband thinks his plan was to make his patients feel "trapped" into staying with him by making them feel it was too late to switch.
I'm inclined to agree with this. Esp if they want to deliver at a certain hospital. I hope she's able to find someone who will actually try to give her what she wants.

Lol no way does he need 2 pair of racy jammies. :lau
Yes to excited to bring the little wrinkle queen home.
Worried as tater too though. They need someone to watch up to 8 additional (unsold) puppies for 5 days. I cannot be in 2 places at one time so they would be here.
The 2 moms will have someone popping in 6 times a day to tend them. The males will travel with the owners. The not a mom female will stay with a friend.
Good gawd the logistics of it all! They are driving to deliver puppies from here to New York, Louisiana, Tennessee, New Mexico and I forget all the other stops.

I won't be getting him anything other than the rabies shot. He is soooooo old I worry about the excitement of just the car ride being to much.:(

:fl That the rabies shot doesn't bother my guy too.

I totally get it DD. I am super worried myself.
Oh wow. That's a lot of travel to sell pups. My first thought was Isn't anyone closer to them selling puppies? So much driving for 5 days.

:frow Morning y'all.

Pretty chilly here in the low 30's. :hmm

I am certainly not ready for winter.
What's your high getting up to now? we had a bit of 30's over night the past week or so, but most days it gets warm before getting cold again.

It moved way to fast for sure.
It seems to go faster every year. :old

Dot is doing good using the roost now. :D
I wish they would hold still so I could get pictures.

I really hope my molting birds pick up the speed on growing a new coat. Soooooo naked!
Yes, I'm worried about mine who are just getting started molting. Do yours seem to be able to keep warm enough even though it's pretty cold?

Welllllll the basset hounds are still in the hood.

I was in the sewing room when all heck broke out in my kennel.
:barnie

Some lady was walking in the valley of the ditch (it never has water in it) with 2 bassets on retractable leashes.
Yup....up one side then the other they went.

That set my girls off. I just want to know why the tater mine will start fighting each other when at the back fence barking at something in the alley!!!

What the blazes would possess someone to walk their dogs between yards where each yard has at least 2 dogs with most having 4+?
People are stupid.

Got the tin on the run roof, and started on the wire for the rest of it.

I will be glad to get the run finished so I don't need to lock up the bantam cochins every night!
Great job! I'm jealous of your tall run.

It was around 70ish here today, this time of year is freak weather it felt more like spring.
It will be like that until mid Novemeber then it will just be miserably cold. Iv'e got to snatch the decent days while they're around.
Nobody turned in early for me, im getting a little tired of herding derps while avoiding that skunk especially since it has decided im perfectly fine to be within two feet from.
Iv'e got a pet i'd rather not have.:barnie
Tilly has been keeping you busy lol!
She gets to teach little River raisin all her tricks too.:D
We're getting the same situation here, weather wise. Are you supposed to get hit w/ the remnants of Nestor or are you high up enough to miss path?

Back to work this week after my week "off". I got a little bit done at home, even though it wasn't nearly what I'd hoped to accomplish. I still had to work about 2 hours every day b/c my boss had a fit about the prospect of doing the overdue notices. I'd requested last week off in August b/c I've been close to maxing out my vaca for months. I had 9.5 weeks as of last pay, even though I took off I'll still have close to 9 weeks b/c 1 days was a holiday & the rest of the week only equaled 3 days since I still had to come in.
I had my interview last Tuesday. It went really well. Longest interview I've ever had, 1 1/2 hrs long. Their tech director is a little younger than me and I'd be really excited to work there. The job pays more than what I'm making here to do a lot less. They have their support staff tiered. Here I do everything, but there I'd just be phone support. It pays more and it's a lot less than I do now. There's a chance to move up eventually, but they don't have much turn over (not surprised). The only draw back is there's a 40-50 min drive every day. There's 2 nights a week which aren't a big deal & alternate friday and saturday work days. I got the feeling that they were concerned that I was over qualified. They asked about it a couple of time. There's plenty that they do differently that would give me a learning curve, but there's nothing I couldn't handle. I'm hoping I get it, but b/c of the over qualified thing I'm expecting they'll choose someone else if they have more flexibility.
Over the weekend I put some cardboard up in my coop on the side that gets the direct hit of the wind. I've got more work to do with that, but hopefully it'll help with drafts & we won't lose any toes this year. I put plexiglass over the "windows" I cut into the side of the coop. I'm hoping that having the sun able to come in through there will help warm things up.

Thanks. Hubs likes the warm jammies.

Yup eggs and fish help the molters.

The crazy trip to deliver puppies is because the airlines do not want to guarantee they will arrive alive or unexpired to potential health risks. Yes there are pups available closer to the buyers.....just not from these lines. New York puppy is going to be search and rescue trained. Louisiana puppy will be a hunting companion. Not sure about the others. I do know one staying here in Colorado will be a search and rescue dog.

We are only hitting the low 50's during the day. :tongue I want spring back!

Yes people can be really dog stupid. Many years ago....when Jack was young....I came home from work to find part of a child's scarf and one mitten in their kennel. :hmm Never found the kid. :lau
I am guessing a kid was playing with them through the fence and lost a scarf and glove.
