I bet your real feel is worse, not that it matters much past a certain point lol!
Glad I took all the plants inside they'd be goners, almost forgot!
I did forget one, im scared to look maybe it is ok but probably not.:(
Good morning folks :frow

:frow 21 here and afraid to look at real feel, but everything is covered in frost.

Morning Henny! Lucky, there wont be 70's here until Monday and it is downhill from there.
I am hoping to get the leaves mulched so the backyard isn't a slick leafy deathtrap before it is too late. :)
Morning.

Reading 31° here. Should hit 70° today.
Thinking it would be a good day to give the dogs baths.
Monday back to snow. :th

It probably wouldn't be as bad if I wore more than shorts and a flannel out there. :gig

Dogs, cat, birds and fish are all fed. Oh I even fed the hoomans. :lau

There are soooooo many feathers still falling off my birds!

Hubs gave stinky piddle pot a bath. Tilly got her ears cleaned. River got her ears cleaned. Sable says I can go pound sand when it comes to bathing her. Jack is asking for his bath.

I am already tired! :th

Your birds get an eyeful! Put some dang clothes on Bob before your knees get frostbite.:p

You got a lot of mouths to feed Henny, i'd be tempted to just get troughs for everybody.:D
I tried replacing nest hay and failed more miserably than usual.
I got my step ladder, hay and myself and climed into the coop.
Within two minuites I had so much company, girls eating the hay, roosters making goofy noises and nests in my pile.
I just shucked it in there, they'll sort it out.
I had too many chicken butts in my face to stick around and do it proper.:barnie

Throwing together a quick run for the mottled cochins.

Well I am up extra early. :hmm

Why you might wonder......
I sleep with my window open a couple inches. At 2:15 am an awful noise outside set my big dogs on edge. Yup that involved barking and baying.
The ONE night I was to tired to go drop pop doors a tatering fox comes through. :rant
My runs are secure. My birds are safe.
The racket outside was it being noisy calling to who knows what.
I did dart out with the dogs. I dropped those doors and they loudly requested it to "MOVE ALONG!"

So here I sit fully awake before 3am.

:pop Maybe there is a good movie on tv.

Or you could write an article about your experience with the noise etc. for BYC

Naw. I am not much of a writer. Neat idea though.
It would be good for folks not knowing "What goes bump in the night" to learn the sounds different predators make.

I really should look at putting together a small sewing box....that puppy cannot chew up. That way I can use my "found time" productively.
