Iv'e got the chickens and squirrel Bob fed already so they're happy hubs is still asleep so im happy too.


Well, one more waiting on a Tilly update when you get back in Henny.

Morning y'all.

Tilly came home from the hospital with a small cough that has gotten worse. Much worse.

I will be taking her to the vet today to have that checked and have her looked over.
That there is some relief that can be given.

Poor thing is on so many pills she practically rattles when she walks.

I am hoping everyone has a disaster free day and decent weather.

While it is quiet here I am going to try and get a quick shower.

My dog brings back dead things the coyotes leave
But I think thats pretty common

oh. ew. I had a few cats who'd kill things then leave them on my window sill at night. Wonderful gifts like frogs, moles and mice.

Growing up we lived next to a Dairy. One day the dogs brought home a still born calf.

Boy were they stinky!

That is horrible. You'd think the farm would bury it so it didn't attract predators.

Only had one pup that swallowed something. Had a small pup that survived aspiration pneumonia(due to feeding tube accident) he was in a rectangle laundry hamper next to the bed, so I could keep close watch on him.

One day I see something hanging from his poo poo hole- brown, thought it was a gigantic worm. Got brave enough and grabbed on with a rubber glove, and pulling gently. It just kept coming and coming. Then I realized it was the rope handle on the mattress(to help turn it over)..

I think that was the only time a dog or pup swallowed something they shouldn't have.
Or the only time I discovered it.

Oh wow. Glad he was ok.

No! Now those bastards say it will be tomorrow it changed not half an hour ago and im pissed.
Auto correct is trying to correct two of my words, nope those are right sucker!

I'm 90% sure the reason why they changed the delivery was b/c your sack was so huge that they needed a larger vehicle, or they needed 2 people to hoist your sack up to the house. Glad it eventually came though. You could consider building a bed frame for your sack that would give you support to lift yourself out of it.

Oh no! I hope it's nothing major. Hope to hear some good things after the vet appt.

Tilly did eat this morning. She will only eat rotisserie chicken.
Boiled chicken and all dog foods are refused.

She will be seen at noon. For her.

Yes. She is fully vetted.

The hospital said she had possibly aspirated vomit while there. They told me at the time it happened. They did not feel it was enough to cause an issue but noted that she developed a cough right after.

Will she eat canned fish?

Nope. She has a very suppressed appetite. Snubbed it like almost everything else.

I did give her 1/2 teaspoon of honey yesterday and today to help with her energy level.
Yesterday it also helped work her up to eat a little in the morning.

It sounds like kennel cough. My Oldest DDs dog was picked up by animal control and when I got her back she had the cough

I know right. It does sound like kennel cough. Except it started directly after violent vomiting. She has been vetted against kennel cough too.
