Tilly got a drink!! :wee

All on her own I saw her get a drink!!!!!
:ya

She was on 5 different meds for her GI tract and 2 different antibiotics. I took her off the GI meds Friday morning. Yes I spoke to the vet first.
It seems they were making things worse. :hmm

Now to get her eating good again. :th

I will take the drinking as a win!
:yesss::celebrate:highfive:

Yes I did, there was no choice literal buckets of rain.
I waited as long as possible hoping for a window but nope.
Blue raincoat had an armpit blowout, it was noisy but drama was nearly at a dull roar over it by now.
My only option was pink dot raincoat, and it is a solid 10 on the sketch meter.
I had derps running halfway to the coop, turning around and going back repedely.
I had to hide to put them to bed and not drown.
ERMAGERD you raincoated the Derps!?! :lau
That is hilarious! I can only imagine the panic level.

Was this for Tilly?
She is far from being a chicken DD. :gig

She is that crazy coon hound.

Morning folks. :frow

Been up a little while already.
I had to force feed Tilly last night. It is ok. She is improving so eventually she will get there.
She did a good amount of baying last night. That means lung capacity is improving too. Yup she expelled some yuck too which is good.

SORRY I did think Tilly was a hen. I need an embarrassed emoji right now. I have a good excuse though. I am OLD! I know SOME people think that is a fate worse than death. But him/her became a senior last month.

And so "IT" begins.

:hugs It is ok DD. I am very forgetful myself.
I am making sure she eats...willingly or by force either way I am making sure something gets into that belly.

When I had a dog that was off his feed,he'd gulp down a hard boiled egg(so I slice them)
or a can of tuna.(not the carpy brands)

In fact tuna was the last meal for those who needed to be put down. At least they were very happy for a little while.

She will eat a bit of egg but not her usual whole egg. She thinks fish smells.....fishy. :hmm

I cannot remember the last time I saw heavy rain. :(
Dang desert here.
I guess that means my burbs will be spared the frightening raincoat experience.

They will not be spared the purple yard coat though. :lau
Even my Australorp are freaked when I go in there with that one on. :hmm

Crooky looks really good now with her new feathers. :yesss:
She was naked most of the summer for some reason.
I have 3 Australorp and one Brahma looking rough still.
