I loved desert living, only got as far as Reno but it was so cool.
Having snowflakes in the morning and scorching hell heat by noon was mind blowing.
Then armadillos omg, those things were freaky and bigger than television makes them seem.
Saw my first wolf out there too, same deal they're horse sized.
I knew those were big just not oh sh*t big.
The only things that werent so cool were slot machines everywhere "too noisy!" And soooo much exposed "stuff", but im guessing that is a tourist trap thing.
Here I get swamp, hell, freezing cold, midget tornados and hurricane farts....and it pretty much all makes the derps freak out.:gig
I would be tempted to trade ya!
Morning folks. :frow

Been up a little while already.
I had to force feed Tilly last night. It is ok. She is improving so eventually she will get there.
She did a good amount of baying last night. That means lung capacity is improving too. Yup she expelled some yuck too which is good.

:hugs It is ok DD. I am very forgetful myself.
I am making sure she eats...willingly or by force either way I am making sure something gets into that belly.

She will eat a bit of egg but not her usual whole egg. She thinks fish smells.....fishy. :hmm

I cannot remember the last time I saw heavy rain. :(
Dang desert here.
I guess that means my burbs will be spared the frightening raincoat experience.

They will not be spared the purple yard coat though. :lau
Even my Australorp are freaked when I go in there with that one on. :hmm

Crooky looks really good now with her new feathers. :yesss:
She was naked most of the summer for some reason.
I have 3 Australorp and one Brahma looking rough still.

Tilly got a drink!! :wee

All on her own I saw her get a drink!!!!!
:ya

She was on 5 different meds for her GI tract and 2 different antibiotics. I took her off the GI meds Friday morning. Yes I spoke to the vet first.
It seems they were making things worse. :hmm

Now to get her eating good again. :th

I will take the drinking as a win!
This is a very good sign!

I am sure I would drown just trying to breathe having been in the desert so long.
:lau

Tilly ate a big sized 5" dog cookie this morning. :celebrate
Little bits is up so I cannot try her on real food yet. That nose is in everything.

Birds are tended....and being loud this morning.:hmm

Good morning folks :frow

I wasn't a huge fan of the desert, but Las Vegas was way way better than Riyadh. I still remember, wearing a 3 piece suit, sitting in the sand while they served up a roasted goat on a huge platter and you of course eat with your fingers.
The heat would have been my issue
Not happy about good clothes in the sand either. But they can be replaced if needed

Goat is good, I would have dug in

When your tired any ole position will do.
