I would like the one cup thing.....since most days between hubs and I we empty a full pot but I would like "one more cup".

Other than my selfish desire to have that extra cup I have no usable knowledge lol.
When I want a bit more coffee, I make a couple of shots with the espresso maker

Hi guys!

I’ve been rather busy. Did I miss anything?

Update on the Milk Drinker. He’s trying to start to crawl. Can’t do much more than scootch backwards for the time being, but he can get up on all fours without help.

Two days ago, he figured out how to play peekaboo completely unassisted! He was laying in his crib next to me (I was waiting for him to tire himself out) when I saw he pulled a blanket over his face. I asked where’d he go and he pulls he blanket off his face and gives me a big gummy smile. I then look away and a few seconds later he starts squealing and flailing his arms and legs. I loom and he has the blanket back over his face. We played peekaboo for 10-15 min. The kid just turned 5 months today. I thought Thing 1 was smart but this kid is leaving big brother’s milestones in the dust.

If you want to see a video of him playing peekaboo, send me a message and I’ll send you a private link. I don’t post pictures or videos of my kids faces in public forums. That probably won’t happen until tomorrow though.

The conundrum...
Lizbeth's known eggs, regular and fart.

The unknown, which is why Luci's hen v. roo is in question, along with the crow and other roo-ish behavior.

Lizbeth's eggs and the questionable are both shown with a quarter for size. We've had 2 of the questionable and no other ones have every been that small.

Here are the ones that hatched October 31st

Wow! Those are pretty big already, these are the jersey giant babies?

Who's Tubbs?
Tubbs is a stray cat that came around 2 falls back and was lurking around. I started petting him to keep him away from my chickens when they were ranging. I last saw him in June when I tried to remove a couple ticks and he wasn't having it. I thought he'd moved on, but he seems to be around still.

River and Tilly.
Yup that blurry tail is from a wagging! :celebrate
She looks like she's feeling better.

I waited until this morning. It is dark when I get home from work now
That's the worst part of winter. Sun is setting before 5 now here.

Im hoping this is hub's last Georgia trip, im not thrilled about him helping his mom be a vulture.
The way the will was written and is being handled is sooo messed up I see disaster in the very near future.
Everybody keeps saying that Georgia law allows for it but im doubting that.
Dosent help that she is just grabbing stuff so other people can't have it, im talking goodwill not family members.
It is really pretty vile.
So she's a hoarder.. where is she putting all of this stuff? My mom's the same way. Taking a bunch of carp that she doesn't need and will never use just b/c she doesn't want my dad to have it. Good luck, hopefully you can stay out of it.

Tilly got a drink!! :wee

All on her own I saw her get a drink!!!!!
:ya

She was on 5 different meds for her GI tract and 2 different antibiotics. I took her off the GI meds Friday morning. Yes I spoke to the vet first.
It seems they were making things worse. :hmm

Now to get her eating good again. :th

I will take the drinking as a win!
Great news!

SORRY I did think Tilly was a hen. I need an embarrassed emoji right now. I have a good excuse though. I am OLD! I know SOME people think that is a fate worse than death. But him/her became a senior last month.

And so "IT" begins.
Don't worry about it! There's so many people in this thread and so many animals it's hard to keep track w/o a chart. I don't even remember the names of people I meet in real life & I don't even try to hide it anymore.

When your tired any ole position will do.

Awwww

Ok, so I got a fake k-cup coffee machine my first one ever.
Can the folks that have one already tell me what is the fuss about?
It is cute, but im lost on the draw of one cup.
What Chooky said, & x2 on the hot water thing. My kids use it to make hot chocolate or cupasoup. I have one that I bought years ago, then my kid bought me one b/c she wanted a newer one.. fine, I took the old one to work. Me & the other guy here use it every day. It's great b/c there's no pot to wash, just keep refilling it. The sucky part is cleaning out the reusable filter, but at work we don't use those. If you use them on a regular basis you don't need to worry about them getting gross like you see online. I'd recommend using filtered/ bottled water & I don't take the reservoir out to refill, I just use a cup or pitcher to refill it. I know someone who was removing the reservoir to refill & something broke and she had to buy a new one.

Such a smart little guy. He's going to be fully mobile soon.
I have a theory that the 2nd child is often smarter than the 1st b/c when you have all the dedicated time for the first one you spend a lot of time reading to them, and teaching them stuff, that the 2nd one absorbs it in the womb. Also, the younger one sees the older one doing things and wants to join in so they learn things earlier.

They are Jersey Giant crosses. They are crossed with either red sex link or Delaware.

They are very big! They are 25 days old today and I have never seen chicks this big!
