What are the d’uccles like interms of personality? I love their looks but don’t know much else about them.
I rather like the D'uccles. I have some that are Mille Fleur and I have a few self blue. ( probably roosters on the self blue) they are lively and don't seem too flighty. I have not had them go broody yet. Very cute with the muffs etc.

Soooo fluffy :love I love them.

No actual bantams just the 3 runts from Meyers, but bantam sounds soo much better than runt.
When we did have them though they didn't get much special care. :)
So, forgive my poor memory, but which Squatchers (if any) have bantams? DH has confessed to wanting a flock of tiny chickies. :eek:Anything special I should know about bantam care?!

Well, Kim has a bald chin for some reason while Stacey and Barbra don't.....hmmmmm?

And poor Prince....still not smart but he is handsome.

And just a random Lulu looking like an old man.

I have bantam Cochin/Orp mixes. They are cute, fluffy little things and broody machines. They were also the last of our birds to stop laying this year. I had roosters but I don’t want to breed them anymore since they aren’t pure. I’ll keep the hens around as long as they hold up their end of the bargain (being broody).

Cochin x Orp must make for some seriously fluffy butts :love They sound very sweet.
