Sir Poof Poof the Brave of Chester
He stands out in the rain and snow. Doesn't seem to mind a bit. LOL
The others are smaller but still seem to be doing just fine. They are of all the feather types... Poof Poof is a Satin Silkie. So smooth feathers. But I also have regular Silkie, Satin Frizzle and Silkie Frizzle out there.

The sun is just coming up here. We have dropped to 32°.

I am ok in the cold.....mostly because we have low humidity. I definitely do wear gloves and a coat though.

Coop cleaning planned for today.

I am looking forward to spring. I too would appreciate the ground drying up....a lot.

If I can reduce the number of birds I have the bitty house will be valuable storage space for garden tools currently living in my overcrowded shop.
I will count that as motivation to reduce the flock size.

What an awesome little dude! Do yours seem to be able to see ok on their own? Or do you have to give them haircuts?
