Hubs is on call so I got woke up when he came in from yet another DUI tow. He did 3 during the night. He tries to be very quiet coming in but if the dogs start bouncing around...well he cannot help that.

He is able to go back to sleep. Me not so much.

Just getting light out now so I will be heading to the coops soon.
The sky is cotton candy pink. Kinda pretty really.

Ohh, I bet that was a heck of a noise considering your bouncing pups are freakin huge probably like an earthquake lol!

I got poked to inform me I hadn't made up the derp food bucket....not kidding.
I do normally have it done before bed just for convenience but it is just scooping feeds into a bucket no need to absolutely have it done.
Lol, poor Rudy she's just really happy about coop cleaning.
Oh...Barb, Kim and my formerly normal Stacey have started sneaking into the shed and laying on my space bags, a dozen eggs on the flippin space bags.:th

Kind of like a giant happy whiny puppy earthquake. Cannot be mad at the puppy being happy to see pops. Giant stompy whiny puppy. :lau

Jeebus! Poked awake because the derp food had not been scooped? Someone would have gotten the burn a hole through ya glare of WTF here. 🤨
 
I bet it is pretty cute seeing pups that big get exited probably cuter at say 7 or 8ish though lol!
Yeah the derp bucket wakeup was not met with a smile, it isn't a thought heavy task in the least and can be done half asleep.
Now if he fed the critters in the morning knowing how he is the bucket might be more pressing.

My neighbors on the other side of us, not the new inconvenient house with the decent family, have a dog. He works nights and I had been taking the big dogs in the back to play in the mornings. I never leave them alone back there for any longer than 5 mins, but they run and bark, especially Peach. They will bark at his dog and him, as well as things going on in the street. He started complaining about the barking, so I started working more on the barking. His solution is a water bottle. My solution is walk in the morning with solo back yard time, work on any barking, and then in the afternoon both big dogs get back yard time, and I work more on barking. Long story short, he's still using the water bottle, and Peach is learning how to use a quiet bark instead of yelling. Hmmm, I wonder how that water bottle is working (as his dog continues to bark while mine are quiet). :gig
 
Well if nothing else his dog is well hydrated and the water company loves him a little more.
Water always jazzed my dogs up, really it is more of a cat punishment.
You have a confused neighbor lol!
And yay Peach for learning an inside bark and using it outside.

It IS a pretty good feeling that winter is close to over.
I know we aren't in the clear yet but there is light at the end of the tunnel!
I hope it isn't a train.
