I was out making chickens mad/scared.....I did daylight nail trimmings. :eek:

For added entertainment/exercise I had already turned the 20 piece group loose into the big yard.....with lots of shrubs and ways to escape me. :lau

Thanks Chook! I raised so many birds to get a good one, one of my few pullets. The others are white and no where near as pretty. I feel like it's my fault for not finishing the roof of the run.

Good afternoon! It has been a lazy one, paid the bills because pandemic or not they'll want their money.
Had to intro a new nest since "chicken surprise" will use our carrier/nest as a taxi so big fun there.
Plants come tomorrow so yay "maybe" if the frosts are over.
About to go dinner the derps, they should have food coming Friday which is great we are running loooow.
Im just glad the grass is sprouting back up to help fill those bellies.:)

Yeah I had let them out and saw that Crinkles had a craaazy long nail. I hadn't checked her feet in a long time. She always roosts on the back roost between two big arsed Australorp. By the time I get to that section she is on high alert and goes batty.

Time for me to be more diligent in foot checks.
