Official Squatch Watchers

Doing fine here! Pretty quiet day. I was planning to movie the littles outside but I wimped out once the weather turned bad:oops:
I put mine outside, had to...new ones hatching! But I did go out at midnight to be sure they were warm enough.

I put the 2 week old quacklings out. They have heat. I am running out every 2 hours to make sure they are warm and have water that isn't icing up.

It is nerve racking.

Hang in there quacker mom! Sounds like they are doing well.

Tonight will be rough. Our lows are in the low teens. I will be out there a few times for sure.
Just in case I kept the indoor brooder set up.

Poor thing also needed hobbles because one leg was splayed.

Poor little baby. I am sure he will be glad to have some guinea friends. What breed is he?
It is Cornish. I think it is from my one White hen that is with one of my Dark males because it doesn't have the normal Dark wild type down.
