I don't need broody hens.

It is one of my bigger Australorp. This one has superglue on her underside. Reaching under her is not easy....How on earth do they manage to triple their weight as soon as you try to reach under?
At least it isn't the really mean one.

Well everybody is fed and out.
Tucks was weird on the roost puffed up staring off in space.
I took her off and set her down and she ran to eat melon.
She ate some crumble, had a hard time due to Lulu being a "MINE!!!!" monster.
Aside from being a little slow she seems fine?

I have no idea but that instant 2 ton chicken trick scares me a little bit.
It really is like lifting an elephant's foot and even the little ones can do it pretty good.
Freakin Lulu makes my elbow ache, I have to one hand her from the floor where she is.

Me too, it is hard to figure her out between her fresh broke broody she still has some residual crazy left and her just being a derp.
I will just have to check on her regularly, make sure she is eating.

I really hope she isn't thinking about being sick.

FWIW it takes mine a solid week once broken to lose that crazy "still partly broody" crazy behavior. I too spend days and days worried and constantly checking on them.

Good morning Henny, have a great day. The rain has let up a bit, Todd's home a bit more but still wonders over there. Yes I did and we still see her take him in the house. When we do we start heading that way and she'll let him out.

I am glad it is not so soggy. I would be so dang mad at that neighbor. OMG! That is so incredibly disrespectful of you for her to keep doing that. Letting him out when you head that way means they DO understand it is something you don't like.
